The scarf and trinity-coat is SO Mission Impossible 1 (or distinctly French, for some reason). Frankly, I think it takes great skill to be able to look stupid for the right 1/8'th of a second. I hate zippers on jackets.

Credit goes to psnob for letting me steal her Canon G5 for the job :)

Killer Bunnies Comming To a Park Near You

Just when I thought I couldn't find any weirder links, I come across this:

Russian squirrel pack 'kills dog'

What next? Killer bunnies?

The Brothel Creeper and an Apple

Hmmf. I didn't want to post again so soon, but I couldn't resist putting these two links I came across recently into one blogpost.

The first one is (inspirational stuff):
http://news-service.stanford.edu/[ ... ]/jobs-061505.html
This is the text of the Commencement address by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computer and of Pixar Animation Studios, delivered on June 12, 2005.

And the second one is (hilarious stuff):
The Brothel Creeper
As the debate rages about the pros and cons of legalising prostitution, Sebastian Horsley - a man who's slept with more than 1,000 prostitutes - gives a controversial and candid account of his experience of paying for sex

Cryptically Snobbish

There's magic in slow motion. The destructive anti-grammar aura apparently affects writing style too, but that might not be such a bad thing. She lies on the bed in that room of her house, thoroughly discharged, from underuse? Maybe. Her pretentious master doesn't love her anymore.

Satisfying CD pouches and burnt DVDs. Fixed PCs and notebooks with XP activation keys. No, not the FCKGW one. That doesn't work.

Of World of Warcraft, and the little black box with shiny lights that could... And a country that couldn't care less.

Of intellectual elves, who have a passion, and those who look for one even as they wrench themselves free from their warm blankets every morning.

Shopping isn't half as bad - no matter how retrosexual you think you are - even if you don't go to more than one shop before you fork over the cash.

Of a machiavellian blog template gone horribly wrong. In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. I have faith in Lahories.... Faith of the wrong kind.

Of beautiful art, with a mythologically-typical something of an artist (or atypical, I'm hardly an authority on mythology..or artists for that matter.. or art), who tests the faith of his audience, and who ducks and weaves praise and spotlight the way butterflies mock straight lines and sober flies.*

Of idiots who measure the "big"ness of a word by counting the number of letters in it, rather than the depth of it's meaning, or the nobility of it's cause.

Of selfless acts of good. By those who could, and those who never knew. Good is greater than evil, and the world is a fair place. But how silly and pointless it would be if everyone saw it that way.

A fish out of water hates the world, and given enough time, even the water that abandoned it. With patience comes the appreciation of both day and night. Breathing is optional.

Social suicide. I like E-Ring.

Submarines in a philosophy paper. Not even for a course. The colour of skill. Orange-2?

Who knew Spice Girls' "Two Become One" had 'pickup lines'?

* = this may not be an analogy in the proper sense of the word. i don't know what it is, it may not make sense, but if you try really hard and look for the only (small) way it would makes sense, and then believe that the entire point of all those words was to make you think that subtle little thing, then you'd be right, and you'd be a litte closer to understanding a lot of the things i write.
